;; actions ;; [b]"[color=#BDEDFF]speaking"[hr][justify][color=white][font=georgia]The young feline had been watching the cathedral based clan for a little while now, wondering whether or not it was a suitable place to live. There always seemed to be something going on in the clan from what she'd managed to observe. Mostly it was all good things, just fun and games really, although lately she'd noticed a darker patch of drama within the cheery clan. But it seemed to be a passing phase, something that would go away and let the ironically named SunClanners be their cheery little selves again. Being a small feline out in the world by herself and with only a small amount of experience and knowledge when it came to hunting the grey and white cat was running out of choices. But SunClan looked great and their generally happy attitudes would suit the energetic young sweetheart perfectly!

At the present time one could find the eight moon old she-cat walking casually over the border of the SunClan territory. Her little grey ears were pricked and her cerulean orbs were slowly flickering around the familiar forest lands. She'd been here one or two times before, just to check out the clan and it's lands before she made any decisions, not that she'd needed much convincing though. SunClan seemed appropriately named by what she'd seen, everyone seemed to be quite friendly and cheery. Not wanting to appear threatening, although an eight moon old she-cat was hardly a threat, Surfpaw would stop and look around for a moment. She was only a fox length or two across the border and into the territory, not very far at all. If the SunClanners proved to be anything less than friendly then she could easily spin and run to get back out again. But she wasn't even thinking about that outcome, she was pretty sure the she would be accepted with welcome arms.

[color=#BDEDFF][b]"Anyone here?" the young girl found herself calling, blue eyes bright with anticipation, she was certain that she'd soon be able to call herself a SunClanner.

;; actions ;; [b]"[color=#BDEDFF]speaking"[hr][justify][color=white][font=Georgia]Mere moments after the grey and white cat had called out to see if anyone was around four SunClanners came forwards, introducing themselves with happy smiles. The first one introduced himself as Dan and it was obvious to the eyes of Surfpaw that this was no domestic feline, no, he was an albino serval. In comparison to her small and young figure the serval was huge and she found herself gazing up at him with wide blue eyes. Ain't he tall! The grey and white cat would think to herself, sticking a smile onto her maw as more cats, these ones definitely domestic felines, padded forwards.

After Dan came a pretty and young looking tortoiseshell cat who introduced herself as Brokenpaw. Nodding her head politely to Brokenpaw her cerulean blue gaze would fall to the next lad, a tom-cat with a warm smile who introduced himself as Gale. With another kind nod of the head her eyes would travel to the next feline, a sweet looking lass who called Surfpaw honey whilst introducing herself as Dreamingpaw, telling her to she'd help out if she needed anything. All in all the SunClanners made a quite happy and friendly young bunch, Dreamingpaw definitely leaving an imprint in the young girl's mind. Yes, she'd have to make friends with her later on!

For a moment there was a bit of an almost awkward seeming silence as Surfpaw just gazed at the gather animals. It's your turn to speak, silly! She scolded herself, realising just a little late that Dan had asked her what her name was and what business she happened to have at SunClan. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"Oh, I'm Surfpaw, and I'm looking to join if that's alright sir." the squire aged feline would say, addressing Dan in a polite form by calling him sir.

She seems nice enough, though. The small cat thought, curious as to what the she-cat's name was but keeping her mouth shut as a creamy coloured feline came to the scene. As the knight spoke her ear would swivel in her direction as her cerulean orbs and head soon followed, smiling at the taller and obviously older female. Vanillatwilight... nice name! It was a nice name actually, even Surfpaw's roleplayer found herself enjoying the she-cat's name.

[color=#BDEDFF][b]"Nice to meet you," the eight moon old would say cheerily before shaking her head in response to the feline's question. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"Not at the moment."

;; actions ;; [b]"[color=#BDEDFF]speaking"[hr][justify][color=white][font=Georgia]There seemed to be a lot of drama going on in SunClan, a hell of a lot actually. Most of it was good though, people getting together and dating, but occasionally there were some rough spots - like this. Moments when the drama wasn't good or exciting and instead it was dark, horrible and really upsetting. Moments like this actually, when people broke down, when they cried, when they screamed and when they fought, to be quite frank the eight moon old feline didn't like it one bit!

The sight of Wendy slamming her head into the ground terrified the little cerulean eyed creature. Being out in the territory not far from Wendy and Nova the screams of the distressed young girl had sent the squire running to find out what was happening. Upon arriving she saw Nova, a feline she was yet to meet, and just a little bit in front of him was Wendy, another SunClanner she hadn't met, banging her head into the ground until she blacked out. Injuries, along with blood, were something the young girl just couldn't deal with. Gasping slightly the wide eyed lass would spin around on her heels. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"I'll go get a doctor!" Surfpaw meowed, taking off quickly, happy to be away from the injured feline.

But maybe a clan wide meet and greet was exactly the kind of thing that the young girl needed, so the grey and white she-cat would pad forwards to join the large cluster of SunClanners, most of which she had never even seen before! There's so many people here! I didn't know SunClan had so many! She thought before deciding she may as well introduce herself. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"My name is Surfpaw and I love running and jumping, I also love to make new friends. But I can't deal with blood or injuries, I tend to freak out."

After all, the more people she met now the better! It'd be good to have a few familiar faces before facing the rest of the clan in day to day life. As a gorgeous little tortoiseshell, who was probably only a handful of moons younger than herself, padded up with a grin she'd smile down at her. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"Hi there Bondikit! I'm Surfpaw." the grey and white cat meowed, introducing herself to the kit that hadn't been present when she'd first said her name. Definitely a future friend, she seems really sweet! were the thoughts going through Surfpaw's head as her bright cerulean eyes looked at the kitten with a broad smile of her own.

Then came a fluffy, much older she-cat, a York chocolate feline to be exact. Blue eyes locking on the happy she-cat as she bounced over Surfpaw could do nothing more but admire and marvel over her long chocolaty coloured fur. Gosh, how I wish I had fur like that! mused the small eight moon old girl, thinking of her own silky short grey and white fur. Meh, she didn't care too much for looks really but she adored the long brown fur that Cain had. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"The pleasure is mine, it's really nice to meet you, Miss!" Surfpaw meowed, a smile still on her face as she spoke to the quite sweet and genuinely lovely sunguard. Once again forgetting to introduce herself she'd let silence take over for a moment before the quite forgetful young squire spoke up. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"Oh, the name is Surfpaw by the way." she added.

She hated injuries or blood, even seeing Wendy black out had been bad enough to set the eight moon old girl on edge. But Wendy was her clan mate and even if she had never spoken personally to the girl she still wanted to make sure she was okay. So her worry for Wendy had won over her and the sweetly dispositioned squire had followed the nurse bak to the scene of Wendy's break down. Calm down, there's not even blood silly! And Emma knows what she's doing, she'll look after her! she told herself as she rejoined the small group. Knowing only Cain and Emma out of the SunClanners gathered she bounded up to the gorgeous York chocolate female, worry shining in her bright cerulean eyes. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"Cain, is she gonna be alright?" Surfpaw would ask, looking up at the older cat.

She was right though, if she was looking for people to come to her clan's little fighting competition then surely she should be nice about it. No, instead the cream and white she-cat had managed to come off as rude and snobbish, something that the eight moon old squire didn't think about many people. It was just that the WindClanner had managed to get on her nerves with the very way she spoke to them, even to Ashton!

Not really knowing anyone there the grey and white cat stood in the middle of the group, not really having any friends among the crowd. Sure she remembered Brokenpaw and Emma from when she'd joined but apart from that she didn't really know anyone, and anyway the nurse had been a little rude when they'd spoken briefly so she wasn't keen to speak to her again. Watching her leader with bright cerulean eyes she found herself admiring the way he dealt with the WindClan cat. He had surely picked up on her somewhat prissy attitude, but he was definitely being the bigger person with his polite words and friendly smile. As Ashton confirmed that SunClan would be there she found herself wondering what such a competition would be like. Still young the squire had no interest in joining, but she'd go along to root on the rest of her clan for sure!

;; actions ;; [b]"[color=#BDEDFF]speaking"[hr][justify][color=white][font=Georgia]Having only joined SunClan recently the grey and white cat had joined and had just taken on the currency thing with ease, she wasn't around before the changes were made and so she didn't have to go out of her way to hunt for gems. It was natural for her really, but for her clan mates who had been around a little longer than her probably found it strange to go out hunting for gems. She knew she would if Ashton had suddenly brought in a currency system, but it was a genius idea and it seemed to be working the way the leader planned. To be perfectly honest Surfpaw had no interest in being rich or having an abundance of gems and pebbles stacked in piles in her room. But she found the idea of swapping the pretty gems and the flat pebbles for things like jewellery and tokens quite exciting, so she would go out and gather a handful of pebbles anyway.

As Cal, a SunClanner she was yet to meet, asked if anyone would like to go hunting for gems or pebbles the squire's ears pricked and swivelled towards the tom-cat. Go on, say you'll go, you've got nothing better to do! she thought as she stood up and bounded towards the tom-cat quite energetically. That was the thing about Surfpaw, she always seemed to be full of energy! [color=#BDEDFF][b]"I'll tag along if that's ok," the eight moon old feline meowed brightly, offering the tom-cat a happy smile. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"Oh, and I don't think we've met yet! But I'm Surfpaw by the way." the girl added, her cerulean orbs shining with excitement as she spoke to the unknown dingo, Logan, and the feline ahead of her, Cal.

;; actions ;; [b]"[color=#BDEDFF]speaking"[hr][justify][color=white][font=Georgia]Having never even heard of the demon she-cat before now the young squire had no idea what to expect from her. Would she be friendly and sweet or rude and snobbish like that WindClanner who had come to the border the other day? Well, she'd just have to go and find out wouldn't she! Maybe she's sweet and we could be friends! the grey and white cat thought to herself as she padded with a friendly smile towards the older and taller female. Her cerulean hued blue eyes bright the young girl would look up to the fiery seeming optics of the knight.

Or maybe she's not... were the cat's next thoughts as she found herself doubting this female's friendliness more and more with each passing second. She just had that look about her, Surfpaw couldn't quite place her but she seemed... like... trouble! Yes, that was it, the feline had that look about her that the young girl associated with being up to no good. What was it her mother had once called these people? The "wrong crowd"? Yep, that had been it alright, that was exactly the term Surfpaw had been searching for to describe the older woman. Deciding to give her a try anyway she would flick her tail in a friendly and cheery manner. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"Hi there! I don't believe we've met but my name is Surfpaw."

At least that's what it looked like to the young cerulean eyed she-cat as she a little ways away, head tilted to the side with curiosity. Who is she talking to? the grey and white cat began to wonder, a slightly confused look on her face as she gazed at the squire who could only have been a couple of moons older than she was herself. Ears pricking as she heard the squire call out the name of a member of SunClan her confusion grew even greater. Wasn't Fargo the one who was now dating the gorgeous cream and white cat who called herself Eli? What was Brokenpaw doing wandering around calling out his name?

She knew it was really none of her business, but curiosity getting the better of her the little she-cat padded towards her fellow squire. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"Brokenpaw? Who are you ta-" she began, cut off as she heard an undoubtedly male voice somewhere to her right. Jumping slightly out of shock the young grey and white cat would spin around, her bright blue eyes searching for the owner of the voice. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"B-but there's no one there!" the young female would gasp, her blue eyes wide with shock as she spoke, the fright she'd just received causing her to stumble a little over her words.

Well, that was a scent that the young feline had never smelt before, yet it seemed to hang in the air around the she-cat who seemed to be at the centre of everyone's attention. Personally the grey and white she-cat had never met Lzzy, and as of yet didn't know her name either, but she couldn't see what the big deal was. Golly gosh, the creature, whoever they happened to be, was her grandfather! What was wrong with seeing your family every once in awhile? Completely oblivious to the questioning tone that Lzzy had taken on, as if unsure of the fact that she even had a grandfather, the little blue eyed girl would pad up to the small group.

[color=#BDEDFF][b]"I don't see why we should be hostile," the squire found herself meowing with a shrug. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"We weren't hostile to that WindClanner when she showed up on the border with an invitation and she was a little rude. No one was hostile to me or, I bet, any of you guys before you joined. I don't see a problem with her grandfather visiting her, sure it would've been nice if he'd asked for permission or told us he was coming but I don't think he meant any harm." The wolf's way of asking the pretty young lady out had been adorable and watching Elizabeth's face, as it transformed from a look of curiosity, to puzzlement and then to joy and love, was quite delightful. Seeing the blossoming buds of romance was always exciting for the young squire and this was no exception. A happy little smile on maw the she-cat would offer her congratulations to the two.

[color=#BDEDFF][b]"Congratulations! You two make quite a cute couple." Surfpaw meowed, Fargo's tale of the love he had for the cream and white feline sticking at the forefront of her mind. It was nice to know there was still a chance for love in this crazy world, even if it wasn't at first sight. In fact she liked the couple's story much better, how they fell in love over time, how they had met again at the ball as complete strangers and how they'd connected in such a different way. She liked how they had both been there for each other, he was there for her when she had found herself with nightmares and she returned the favour when the wolf had almost died. It was quite cute really and the idea of love, true love at that, was quite appealing to the young girl.

Pricking her ears and turning her cerulean luminaries on Cain as she heard talk of getting the sunguard a boyfriend Surfpaw grinned. Turning her attention away from the others and padding over to the small group. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"Oh trust me, I bet you'll fall in love with someone soon! Then you can have a cute relationship like those two have." the grey and white cat meowed happily to the York chocolate female who she'd come to look up to over her short time in SunClan, gesturing to Elizabeth and Fargo as she spoke of "those two".

You know, she was only eight moons old and didn't really know how to deal with loners or anyone other than SunClanners. From what she had observed it was best to be polite, just like they had been to the rude WindClanner and how the SunClanners had been when she had turned up on the border. There also seemed to be two questions that everyone was asked, their name and their business with SunClan. So with that in mind the grey and white she-cat decided that she would have to man up and talk to the stranger herself. Well, sure, she looked friendly enough with her wagging tail and friendly voice but the WindClanner had seemed nice too and she was downright rude..!

Deep breathes, you got this! she thought to herself as she passed quietly from the forest and towards the canine. Just remember, name and business. Having to look up the canine because of the fact that it was much larger than she herself was, her bright cerulean eyes would twinkle with a soft friendliness and sweetness. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"Hi there, n-name and b-business?" the young squire would ask, stuttering over her words slightly due to the fact that it was her first time having to speak to a stranger.

Surfpaw simply couldn't wrap her head around it, where she had come from there had been no such fancy powers. Yet this wolf could turn himself invisible, admiring the male's talent Surfpaw was almost tempted to reach out a paw to see if he really was there. But there was no doubt left in her mind that the knight was there, after all he had just spoken to her and she had seen Brokenpaw walk right into him! As Brokenpaw turned to her with a smile and a shrug the grey and white cat would smile back softly, now somewhat amused by the situation at hand.

But Surfpaw had barely been in the clan for a day yet and the canine was almost twice her height! So naturally the cerulean eyed lass had felt a little panicked and frightened at being left by herself to question the dog before her. Straight after she'd stuttered out the usual questions a familiar York chocolate female reached her side. Relief flashed in the young girl's blue luminaries as Cain gave her a friendly nudge and a grin, returning the warm smile Surfpaw would let herself relax. The sunguard could handle things now, she needn't worry about having to do anything more.

Although she had only been in SunClan for a short time she'd hit it off right away with the optimistic and friendly Cain, who's name she had been told meant trouble. Not only was the squire happy to say that she was friends with the feline but the sunguard had quickly become a role model for the little grey and white she-cat, someone that she admired. Before the canine could respond to Surfpaw's question a handful of other SunClanners arrived, among them was Brokenpaw, who stopped beside her to offer her a smile. Flashing her own grin back at the squire the she-cat's blue eyes would turn to watch Gale, another cat she'd met the day she'd joined, and a... wildebeest! Cerulean eyes wide as she caught side of Dmitri, who was unlike any other animal she'd ever seen, she turned her attention back as the canine spoke, reminding herself that it was rude to stare.

Just looking to join, well that was an easy fix! Giving the female collie a warm smile as they introduced themselves as Milo she would nod her head. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"Welcome to SunClan, Milo! As he began to lead the group out and down towards the caves the young feline would bound along, her cerulean eyes bright with energy as she moved. For a cat of eight moons she was oddly energetic and it just added to her look of complete innocence, and completely innocent she was to be quite honest. Surfpaw was the type of person to get easily concerned or worried about the well being of others and she almost never opened her mouth if her opinion might hurt someone. She didn't need to fake innocence, the young lassie was completely innocent without even trying.

Padding along quickly the cawing of a raven caught her attention and she watched as the bird swooped down and turned into a tawny and white blue-eyed she-cat in front of her. Surfpaw hadn't yet had the pleasure of meeting the impressionist, but she knew her name to be Raven, the shape shifting she-cat and one of the clans only impressionists as it so happened. Watching as Raven joined the ranks of the crew going gem hunting she pricked her ears as Cal called back to everyone that it was dark ahead. He was right, the light was beginning to fade in this section, causing the young squire's steps to be a bit uncertain as the darkness enveloped her. But that meant she could be the first though and Surfpaw wasn't going to complain about that. Her idea for an inclusive and fun game/activity had a simple design and quite a simple set up, sure she'd had to do a little bit of work to find the necessary equipment but other than that it was easy. The lassie's idea was to have a bit of a scavenger hunt, but not for food or lollies but for the little gems that one could trade for gorgeous items in the clan's shops. She'd spent most of the day before collecting enough gems to scatter around the place and make sure that everyone would get some.

The small gems were scattered around the cathedral, hidden in tricky places to spot and some very obvious places. Hopefully she'd be able to round up enough people to get the game going, it'd be a bit sad if she had no takers now wouldn't it? Standing in the main room, where most people usually made announcements or hosted meet and greets and other fun activities, the grey and white she-cat would let a happy smile take place on her maw before opening her mouth and calling out.
